Our public beach is within walking distance of downtown New Buffalo and located adjacent to the busy outlet of the Galien River and near the harbor. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer months. There are restrooms, a refreshment stand, a small play area for children, a dune stairway and longish overlook and boardwalk atop the dunes. A parking fee is charged.

Located in St. Joseph at the mouth of the St. Joseph River, Silver Beach County Park features a clean, wide beach on Lake Michigan and public access to the South Pier. It is a favorite destination for a variety of beach and river front activities, ranging from swimming and beach volleyball to sunset strolls.

You can experience sand dunes, and a pavilion. Remember to bring your sandals because the sand gets hot. Non-residents charged entrance fees on summer weekends. Swimming, access to North Pier, sand dunes, bathing beach, restrooms and picnic area. No unleashed animals and no alcohol. Open all year from 6 am to 10 pm.

Warren Dunes State Park provides 1,952 acres of recreational opportunities along the beautiful shore of Lake Michigan in southwestern Michigan. The rugged dune formation rises 260 feet above the lake and offers spectacular views and excellent for hang gliding. The park has three miles of shoreline, six miles of hiking trails and is open year-round. Location: The park is located 2.5 miles south of Bridgman on the west side of Red Arrow Highway.

No unleashed animals and no alcohol. Open April to November each year from 8 am to nightfall.
